The exact question was:

If a client wants you to promote a video which you want to do on your own channel but they already have it uploaded to Youtube on their own channel, do you need to have them remove it from their channel before you upload it to your channel. It would seem you would get a duplicate content strike if you upload a video already up on someone else’s channel.
